Junior Accountant Full-Time (m/f/d)

Job Description

For our structural development and our Finance Department at our new production site in Obiliq / Kosovo, we are looking for a Junior Accountant that will cover financial accounting for Kosovo.
 
You will be happy to take over the following tasks:

  • Checking and posting of incoming invoices.
  • Preparation, coordination, and execution of payments 
  • Preparation of account statements (reconciliation, clearing of accounts) 
  • Processing and recording daily business transactions. 
  • Knowledge of working with monthly provisions and accruals.
  • Knowledge of sales and purchase books in accordance with VAT law in Kosovo.
  • Reviewing sales invoices in accordance with export documentation.
  • Close cooperation with the Controlling Team (based in Germany). 

We would be delighted if you possess the following skills:

  • Ideally have a bachelor’s degree in economics/finance, similar field, or a comparable qualification as a Certified Accountant.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in accounting
  • Confident handling of MS Office programs and ERP systems (ideally proAlpha)
  • Structured and responsible way of working as well as resilience, diligence, independence, and reliability.
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Good knowledge of Albanian and English, German is a plus.
